I've been buying the MAC lip pencil in Stripdown for over ten years. It's the only product I use to line and fill in my lips. The color closely matches my natural lip color and every pencil I've purchased through the years has never varied in color or consistency, its always been exactly the same. Its getting to the end of the week and that can only mean one thing, NEW BLOG POST! I have decided to blog about my two favourite lip products which I bought in January but have only just started to use in the past two weeks.

So, I bought these two products on new years day and didn’t really know what to think of them, I bought a MAC Lipstick in the shade Honey Love and a MAC Lip Liner in the shade stripdown, these are a brownish nude shade that work amazingly together!

The texture of the Lipstick is incredible, it is creamy when being applied and has a matte finish, which I prefer as I don’t like the whole glossy look on my lips in particular. The Liner goes onto your lips smoothly leaving them feeling great. The two work together amazingly providing that you blend, I like to have a super matte finish and although the lipstick itself is matte, I also apply a little loose transparent powder after I have worked the two products together and have the desired look.

MAC Lipsticks and Liners are Incredible, I definitely recommend them to all of you out there, however I will say, make sure you visit a MAC store and test the colours on yourself before you buy.
