Cloudberry lab supports Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage object storage. When operating with large files (e.g. Image Based backup or large archives) customers may experience slow backup speed. Vcds lite mac.
Brian from BackBlaze reached out and provided some feedback:- To the left ('Faster Network') to use less of your bandwidth and backup slower. To the right ('Faster Backups') to use more of your bandwidth and backup faster. All the way to the right to use all of your bandwidth, no matter how much you have.
- This was happening because the Synology uploads files to Backblaze one by one and speed ramps per file. So with three files, the Synology kept starting to upload new files, which takes time to ramp up to speed. Once I was on 20 concurrent files, there were enough files that were ramped up that the speed was constantly high.

- Backblaze automatically adjusts the speed of backups. Manual Throttle. Turning 'Automatic Throttle' off enables the manual Throttle slider, allowing you to set how much of your Internet bandwidth to use for backups. Slide the Throttle: To the left ('Faster Network') to use less of your bandwidth and backup slower.
I checked into it, and we think your restore is slow for several reasons: Willow watch cricket.
1) Lots of tiny files (we are fixing this in a rewrite literally this week)
2) It landed on a slow restore server. (We are planning on decommissioning that server soon because it is 8 years old and slow.)

We have the technology to move your restore to a faster restore server.However, the restore experts here tell me your restore is actually 90%through the part that would speed up, so they recommend just'let it run'. I really really hope it will be finished and ready for youin the next few days.
If you need some of your files any faster, I think you should prepare several smaller restores. It turns out that if you preparefour restores, each one 25% as large as the original, the fourrestores will complete 4x faster because they are prepared byfour separate servers.
